Just a quickie post today being that it's Sunday and our day has been full. Morning church, lunch with the folks (thanks mom and dad!), picked up our new-to-us van (YAY!), pool swimming, chinese food eating and now a bit of art for tomorrow's post.
Yesterday I swear I did something productive but I can't tell you what it might have been. Hubby-the-great worked for hours on the side of our house cutting down overgrown brush so he can add a bed over there for watermelon growing (I'll share pics when it's done). We still have left over dirt from the garden beds we put in, in the backyard so we're trying to get rid of the excess. I can't wait until my driveway is free of a dirt hill!
(before)
In honor of our new-to-us car (don't laugh, it's a 1994 Mercury Voyager. Okay, you can laugh, but it runs!) I've made a small smelly thingie. What do you call them? Air Fresheners! I found it partially completed in the WIP hatbox. I think that box may be bottomless!
One of my fav parts of this is the multi-colored thread. I added a bit of velcro to the bottom so I can put in a baggie of potpourri for the car. What scent should I choose?
What did you create today?

Great way to complete a WIP! I have a muslin bag of lavender buds hanging in my car. It's great to scrunch them and let the fragrance spread calmness around the car in those traffic jams ;)
We were trying to grow lavender in our garden beds but both times we planted it never came up. If I want something natural I could go for basil! lol That might make me hungry all the time though, but we are growing it in our garden.
