In a Funk...

I really shouldn't be in a funk. I'm surrounded by wonderful art products and an art studio that is almost organized to the hilt. I even bought new staples, velvety and shimmery ribbons this week. I bought new papers, sparkly doo dads and a couple other things. I've received ephemera gifts from friends this week in the mail. You would think I would be DYING to create. Not so. I just feel Blehhh. Probably time to peruse a magazine or new altering book and see what inspires me.

I'm going to work on my TRAVEL item for 'Monday Musings'. Anyone going to join me? Off to look at new BLOGS for inspiration as well.

One of your blogger friends said, "there is a fortune in that room." Yes there is, but it's not just the materials, it's the creativity you bring to it. You could be doing ceilings, walls and buildings with your art.

You are also giving you daughters the gift of creativity. There is a book by Edith Shaeffer called Hidden Art. It is an amazing book. She reminds us that God is the One who gave us His creativity. You have an extra portion.

I'm proud of you-Mom.
