Self Portrait Tuesday, last as usual...

I'm always late with everything, what did you expect? lol Anyway, its a pic of me, and it works for 'Self Portrait Tuesday'.

I went to my nephew's birthday party this weekend. He is growing up so quickly, I'm starting to feel old. I swear I'm only 18 (I wish.) So, I emailed pics to mom in Georgia because she couldn't be with us. I emailed pics of my brothers, sister-in-laws, nieces/nephew, children and DH. Of course her first question is 'where is a picture of YOU?' Well I'm BEHIND the camera of course. *eyeroll here* But, just to make her happy I had DH take several pics of me. I tried to do it by myself, but nope. For some reason the angle of which I hold the camera out always accentuates my double chin, crows feet or grey hairs and we 'need' to hide those from people, right? ha In the words of Dolly Parton, 'Time Marches On, and Eventually It Marches Across Your Face.' So he took a pic and it worked okay. As good as I'm going to look at this stage in the game. I don't know what I'm worried about. My mother knows what I look like, as well as all my faults. She just wants to pretend she still lives closeby and is with us. That is why I took the picture, just for her...

Well-here is Mom.

You are so beautiful to me,
You are so beautiful to me
Can't you see
You're everything I hoped for
You're everything I need
You are so beautiful to me
