Day 1 is here! Are you as excited as I am? It's like knowing the fair is in town and your family will be going tomorrow. It's knowing a day full of funnel cake, games and rides are in your near future! I'm over the moon excited to being my month of creative expression. I've been feeling the creative vibes for days; pulling out supplies, reading art magazines, perusing art books from the library. I even found this long forgotten hatbox of WIPs (works in progress), so I imagine I'll be doing a bit of sewing this month as well!
Today is Day 1 of my exploration into the creative unknown. It's been a busy year of homeschooling and other goings on and art has been pushed into the dark recessives of the file 'I'll get to it sometime.' Well 'sometime' is here.
I'm working on a project. I'll post later tonight or tomorrow about my first day of art. In the meantime, I was too excited to not do a few things, so I completed these pants for the little one.
She and grandma had sewn them by hand while we were in Atlanta (shark material picked out to commemorate our trip to the aquarium of course!) but I added the elastic and strengthened the seams. It's a little bit of creating, don't you think?
